OPPORTUNITY - Senate Bill 1012, a controversial bill addressing oil wells, needed more local support during the legislative process. This local bill idea sought to address health disparities and create a program to handle the unmet environmental cleanup.

RESULT - Using existing press relationships, we worked to find a local news outlet that served the impacted constituents. The op-ed was written and placed with a local paper and ultimately enjoyed the community's support while helping Senate Bill 1012 through the committee process.
